Gorilla Biscuits were the New York straight edge hardcore punk band on Revelation Records. Ironically (due to their straight edge status), their title come from either the large quaalude which was popular in their neighborhood, called gorilla gorilla biscuits. This is noted within one of their early songs which is too highborn Gorilla Biscuits by having a lyrics "Gorilla Biscuits in your fucking head, one more time and you'll be dead..." Guitarist Walter Schreifels' later musical tries include Quicksand, Rival Schools, and Walking Concert.
